3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10 : 3-4 NIV
11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”[e] 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10 : 11-13
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Ephesians 6:11 – 13
Times are perilous and tumultuous. Prophecies are unfolding in front of our eyes. Catastrophes are happening everywhere. The Book of Revelations is now revealing its meanings to us.
Because we are surrounded by chaos and in societies undergoing an obvious falling out from Christ and His teachings, we need to stay grounded and focused in our beliefs and convictions. The deceit, twisting and contortions of God’s Word can be very subtle and the anti Christ has weaved an intricate web of destruction.
Now more than ever, we all may fall victim to the sensationalism that we create as we observe what is happening and from the awe that the events inspire. We need to detach from the worldly habit of seeking thrills and sensationalism because it feeds into one more satanic trap. We have to be careful that we don’t hang on anyone’s words right now. False teachings are rampant. The church is officially infiltrated with distortion and satanic thought. We need to listen, watch and discern. May Jesus allow for us all to see and hear what is truly happening, unlike those who are in the midst of things yet can’t see what is transpiring around them.
Listen to what is being said, but don’t depend on what people are saying for you to ascertain what is happening. There are people with the gift of prophecy, and the Holy Spirit is moving many such people forward to shed some light on events. But there are false prophets as well. Let the Holy Spirit guide you to the truth.
However, this is the time for us to focus on our personal relationship with Jesus. He will give you understanding and strength. He will comfort you. He will show you what you need to know and guide you to where you should be. Nothing that we do right now is random. We are being led by Jesus every step of the way to get through these times.
Most of us right now are experiencing problems. Many of us have serious health problems. Many of us are seriously challenged financially as well. This is necessary. Do not be disheartened at all. The hardships, struggles and suffering that we have been experiencing have been the catalysts that drew us to our Savior, Jesus. They allowed for us to cry out to Him. They led us to being saved. Many times “problems’ are actually blessings in disguise because they help to remove you from the worldly affairs, and separate you from the tide of events. These problems many times are what honed our faith.
We all need to be with our Lord in our hearts, minds and spirit CONSTANTLY. Think about Him, speak to Him and keep Him in your thoughts and heart all day, where ever you are and what ever you are doing. If we all do this as individuals, but together as Christ’s loyal subjects, we will strengthen Christ’s Kingdom here on earth through our bonding with Him as the winds of change blow around us.
May the Peace and Grace of the Lord be with us all.
