The Holy Spirit: Our Amazing Comforter
The Bible tells us that the Father will send the Comforter to us, to teach us all things, and to abide with us forever; and that the Holy Spirit is The Comforter (John 14:16, 26).
We may be familiar with the Holy Spirit’s work as Comforter, but have we thought about how truly comforting the Comforter is?
One of the first and greatest comforts we experience when we receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, is a great and abiding conviction that we are indeed a child of Yahuwah Elohim [the LORD God]. This strong conviction of being one of His children, is an even greater and deeper confidence than what happened to us when we experienced our New Birth:
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
