They Claim To Speak For God Part 1

'I Am NOT Ashamed of the Gospel of Christ!'

My Comment:  Put your discernment cap on and read this, its a great article, and we need to know how to tell the difference between these things that divide.

The Berean Call

Again, sound doctrine is simply the teachings of the Word of God, which every believer is to read, heed, and obey. Yet, according to these teachers, since biblical doctrine stands in the way of the “new things God is doing,” it must be downgraded.

A very large part of Christendom in the United States is enamored with those who claim to speak for God. If you think that’s an overstatement, simply tune into some of the programing on Trinity Broadcasting Network or some of the other cable religious networks. What you will see are churches filled with thousands of Christians hanging on to every word of a man or a…

Rebuilding the wall

daily meditation

wallsNehemiah 6:1: Now it came to pass, when it was reported to Sanballat and Tobiah, and to Geshem the Arabian, and unto the rest of our enemies, that I had builded the wall, and that there was no breach left therein (though even unto that time I had not set up the doors in the gates),

By this time in the journey of Nehemiah, the walls of Jerusalem had been built, a major aspect of making Jerusalem a fenced city has been taken care of (different people taking care of different part of the walls).

Note that this is a process of restoration, subsequent to efforts made for the rebuilding of the temple.

The temple has to do with restoration of relationship with God, while the building of the fence has to do with delineation of divine inheritance, restoration of possession.

The Power of the Gospel

The Eerie Silence of a Silent Church

A Wonderful Savior

Why is there almost no call for spiritual discernment within the Church? . . . Why are there so few warnings about a counterfeit “new gospel” movement that maligns the person of Jesus Christ and threatens the lives of His followers?- Warren B. Smith

by Warren B. Smith
(author of False Christ Coming: Does Anybody Care? )

Traditional Christian believers frequently mention the analogy of the frog that is so slowly and gradually boiled in a kettle of water that it dies before ever realizing what is going on. Yet many believers fail to realize that the very same thing is happening to them as they tell that story. How else do you explain the rapid rise of the “new gospel” movement with hardly a word of concern within the Church about what’s been happening? As “new gospel” advocates continue to publish bestselling books and flock to the…

The Coming Shaking and Awakening of the Church–URGENT! EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST LISTEN TO THIS!

Joseph of Arimathea and David’s Throne in Britain!

I can’t attest to the historical accuracy of this article, especially when discussing Jesus’ early years that are not accounted for in the Bible.  However, it is a fascinating read, and it could very well be true!

Absolutely fascinating….King Arthur, Glastonbury, Avalon, Jesus having been to England, the Throne of David and much more….

Below is an excerpt from the introduction….

…To most readers of the Bible, therefore, Joseph of Arimathea is remembered in passing as the rich man who took the body of the Messiah down from the tree and placed it in his own private sepulcher. He then silently passes out of the Scriptural record leaving no trace whatsoever in the Word of YEHOVAH God!

As E. Raymond Capt notes: “Strangely, the Bible has nothing further to say about Joseph of Arimathea, following the crucifixion. Surely this man who was a disciple of Jesus; who had shown rare courage in begging the body of Jesus, would have become a close follower of Christ after the transforming experience at Pentecost. The Bible never mentions him again, yet we are not left in the dark concerning the DOMINANT ROLE Joseph played in the spreading of Christianity.” (The Traditions of Glastonbury. Artisan Sales, Thousand Oaks, CA. 1983, p. 21).

WHO was this man who, in all probability, risked the wrath of the Jewish authorities when he requested the body of the Messiah for burial?…

The Holy Spirit: Our Amazing Comforter

Cold Waters to a Thirsty Soul

The Bible tells us that the Father will send the Comforter to us, to teach us all things, and to abide with us forever; and also, that the Holy Spirit is The Comforter (John 14:16, 26).

We may be familiar with the Holy Spirit’s work as Comforter, but have we really thought about how truly comforting The Comforter is?

One of the first comforts we experience when we receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:4,5,8; Luke 24:49), is a firm and abiding conviction that we are indeed a child of Yahuwah Elohim [the LORD God].

This strong conviction of being one of His children, is a greater and deeper confidence than what happened to us when we experienced our New Birth:

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we…

Luke Chapter 21: The Breakdown and Meaning That Show’s Us Where We Are Today In Prophectic Words From The Messiah

'I Am NOT Ashamed of the Gospel of Christ!'

As I read all the news, wars, and more wars, rumors of wars with China preparing for war with Japan and North Korea threatening to annihilate the US, Iran threatening the US and Israel, Russia threatening the US with possible nuclear war if we intervene in Syria, and all the wars in Africa; I am reminded of Jesus’s words in Luke 21 and where we are in prophecy.  There are many prophecies in the Bible, but I am concerning myself with Jesus’s words of warning.

Luke 21:5-6

  • Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God.  But Jesus said,
  • As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.

Now, I believe all theologians and scholars agree that this was fulfilled…

Day #52, Mark 13 – Staying Awake In Sleepy Times

The Eleven89

Mark 13

If you are not ready for it, Mark 13 shocks you awake with Jesus suddenly prophesying all over the place.  It’s like Mark in his writing has grouped similar stories together so that you just get a snapshot of who Jesus was and what Jesus said and did.  In this case, we get a chapter of prophecy… let’s dig in…

TEMPLE DESTRUCTION

Jesus leaves the temple with his disciples after watching the widow toss her coins in.  And his disciples remark on how beautiful the temple is – how wonderful the buildings in the temple were!  And Jesus foretells the temple’s destruction – which if I’m not mistaken happens in 70 AD with the destruction of Jerusalem.

  • It seems like we as humans love physical beauty in our architecture, nature, other humans, etc.  And we focus on that beauty, but Jesus reminds us that all that we have is of a…

A Lamp in the Dark

This film may offend some people, it may disturb many  and yet, despite the drastic revelations that the film makes, it may make sense to countless others.

Persecution and deception are never “easy” topics.  They are rampant today, and this video sheds a new light on them.

I am posting it so that viewers can come to their own conclusions.

A New Heaven and A New Earth. Revelations 21 (NIV)

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb

9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick. 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.

22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
