logo

The object of the prayer chain is to like and  re-blog a continual Prayer. We have started a fire now lets cause it to spread!

Heavenly Father We come to you in a chain prayer. Our hope is that this prayer will be a constant act of worship and power from earth to heaven and back to earth. Father we pray for the lost. Those who are clouded by this world and the things of it. We pray you will turn their eyes towards heaven and You. We pray for a revival in Your name. Cause Your fire of love and truth to burn in our hearts. Cause us to rise up as children of God that provoke Your spirit to move again as in Acts. We pray we would play a part In the Blind seeing, The deaf hearing and the lame to leap. We pray for the power…

Know His Voice

Ginrich's Devotional Blog

Revelation 13:18. This calls for wisdom:  Let the one who has insight calculate the beasts number, for it is mans number, and his number is 666.

As we prepare and watch for the return of Jesus for His Bride, the church of. Elite era, we are told to use insight and wisdom.  We are to be on guard for the anti-Christ.  Jesus warned many would come and claim to be Him (Jesus).  This is why it is so important for us to know His voice.  I will not write about pre, mid or post tribulation for the believers.  I am not concerned about the future because I know my future is in the hands of God.  Whatever er He allows me to face He will give me the knowledge and wisdom to do so in His love and grace.  Our question is have we practiced listening enough to know His voice?…

The Throne Room Of God

My Lord, My Friend

image

When we worship, we are approaching a glorious Throne, in the Throne Room of God. Revelation verses 1 to 37.

It is in essences the heart of heaven the place where God The Father sits, with His Son Christ Jesus. The throne is the ultimate power source for existence in the universe.

It is described in the Bible many times. Isaiah 6 and Ezekiel 1. To worship means we approach the throne of Grace in all it Glory and wonder.

Hebrews 4 verse 16: “Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and grace to help us at the proper time.” The scripture says we are to approach The Throne of Grace boldly, why because we are covered by what Jesus has done for us on the cross, He paid the price for us to come.

When we worship, we are joining…

Can the Devil Rob You of Your Healing?

“How can I overcome the pain of betrayal?”

This is a wonderful post…It makes me think however, how betrayed God must feel from the distance, the cold heartedness and the evil that has consumed His children today. So, if we feel betrayed and angry from our personal circumstances, if we are able to fathom the betrayal Jesus felt – then IMAGINE the betrayal that God our Father has felt, and the hurt that He must have suffered watching mankind turn their back on our most loving and caring Creator. And in all His pain, He forgives us and gives us eternal life.

altruistico

Betrayal is a gross violation of trust and can be one of the most devastating  forms of pain inflicted upon a human being. The suffering of betrayal is often  magnified by a sense of vulnerability and exposure. For many, the pain of  betrayal is worse than physical violence, deceit, or prejudice. Betrayal  destroys the foundation of trust.

David was no stranger to betrayal: “If  an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it; if a foe were raising himself  against me, I could hide from him. But it is you, a man like myself, my  companion, my close friend, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship as we  walked with the throng at the house of God” (Psalm  55:12-14). The closer the relationship, the greater the pain of  betrayal.

Jesus knew the pain of betrayal firsthand. The worst, most  treacherous betrayal of all time was Judas’s betrayal of…

Grace Active: Valley of Vision Prayer

Citizen of New Jerusalem

Sometimes I have trouble praying as I ought – but often I turn to the Valley of Vision for help in getting my engine started. One of Christianity’s greatest books from the past 2,000 years, VoV would be my second book choice if stranded on a desert island, right after the Bible, and right before The Existence and Attributes of God by Stephen Charnock. Oh, those Puritans.

Pretty ValleyI provide these prayers most Sundays for those of us who are weak in prayer, and who need help in devotion. Today’s prayer is a simple, childlike request for more grace for all the tricky parts of the Christian life. Please pray this with me.

Lord Jesus, great high priest, Thou hast opened a new and living way by which a fallen creature can approach Thee with acceptance.

Help me to contemplate the dignity of Thy Person, the perfectness of Thy sacrifice…

A Warning For All From God Given To My Father, A Prayer Minister: Please Read!

ChristianBlessings

warning-from-god-part-5-epic--source

This message was received by me tonight via email.  My father forwarded this to people involved in his ministry, church, friends, family, etc. tonight with a sense of urgency to get it out.  So I am doing my part as well and sharing the message he received with everyone I can.  -Lyn Leahz

“I just got done with my prayers for the evening. In conclusion I asked God if he could give me something profound that I could pass on to all of you…..With no hesitation, God gave me two words….”BE PREPARED”….This can have a lot of different meanings unless you know what I have been studying and praying about lately.

“Be prepared for the time of tribulation. Be prepared for events that could happen in this country that could radically change our lives…..Pray….STUDY….And I can not drive home that one enough. We need to be prophecy wise. We need to…

The Lorica ( The Breastplate Prayer) by Saint Patrick . A Prayer for Protection

Naomh Padraig

Saint Patrick’s Day is coming up soon.  Saint Patrick was being pursued by Druids and he recited this prayer asking the Lord to protect him.  God answered his prayers and as he went through the forest and passed by the Druids that were waiting to kill him, he was able to pass right by them. They didn’t see him! All they saw was an innocent, gentle deer passing by.

I am not Catholic, but Christian prayers belong  to all Christians.  This happens to be a beautiful prayer and as St. Patrick’s day is approaching, it’s good to be reminded that there is so much more to the holiday than wearing green and drinking beer.

The following prayer, font and all, was copied from Prayer Foundation Org.  (The actual text of the prayer is public domain)

Saint PatricksBreastplatePrayer

I bind unto myself today
The strong Name of the Trinity,
By invocation of the same,
The Three in One and One in Three.

I bind this day to me for ever.
By power of faith, Christ’s incarnation;
His baptism in the Jordan river;
His death on Cross for my salvation;
His bursting from the spicèd tomb;
His riding up the heavenly way;
His coming at the day of doom;
*
I bind unto myself today.

I bind unto myself the power
Of the great love of the cherubim;
The sweet ‘well done’ in judgment hour,
The service of the seraphim,
Confessors’ faith, Apostles’ word,
The Patriarchs’ prayers, the Prophets’ scrolls,
All good deeds done unto the Lord,
And purity of virgin souls.

I bind unto myself today
The virtues of the starlit heaven,
The glorious sun’s life-giving ray,
The whiteness of the moon at even,
The flashing of the lightning free,
The whirling wind’s tempestuous shocks,
The stable earth, the deep salt sea,
Around the old eternal rocks.

I bind unto myself today
The power of God to hold and lead,
His eye to watch, His might to stay,
His ear to hearken to my need.
The wisdom of my God to teach,
His hand to guide, His shield to ward,
The word of God to give me speech,
His heavenly host to be my guard.

Against the demon snares of sin,
The vice that gives temptation force,
The natural lusts that war within,
The hostile men that mar my course;
Or few or many, far or nigh,
In every place and in all hours,
Against their fierce hostility,
I bind to me these holy powers.

Against all Satan’s spells and wiles,
Against false words of heresy,
Against the knowledge that defiles,
Against the heart’s idolatry,
Against the wizard’s evil craft,
Against the death wound and the burning,
The choking wave and the poisoned shaft,
Protect me, Christ, till Thy returning.

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.

I bind unto myself the Name,
The strong Name of the Trinity;
By invocation of the same.
The Three in One, and One in Three,
Of Whom all nature hath creation,
Eternal Father, Spirit, Word:
Praise to the Lord of my salvation,
Salvation is of Christ the Lord.

Lord Forgive and help us

After our Baptism, the devil plots

Discerning Thoughts ©

St. Gregory of Nyssa.jpg“IT IS AFTER the dignity of adoption [Baptism] that the devil plots more vehemently against us, pining away with envious glance, when he beholds the beauty of the new-born man, earnestly tending towards that heavenly city from which he fell; and he raises up against us fiery temptations, seeking earnestly to despoil us of that second adornment, as he did of our former array. But when we are aware of his attacks, we ought to repeat to ourselves the Apostolic words, As many of us as were baptized into Christ were baptized into His death (Rom. 6:3). Now if we have been conformed to His death, sin henceforth in us is surely a corpse, pierced through by the javelin of Baptism, as that fornicator was thrust through by the zealous Phineas (see Num. 25:7-8). Flee therefore from us, ill-omened one! for it is a corpse thou seekest to despoil, one…

Ask for the Old PathsJph

Samuel at Gilgal

John GillWe should always praise God for the Scriptures. They point us in the way we should go. We must make use of them and search them since they testify of Christ. Through them we are guided to the old paths, and therefore to the good way in which we should walk. According to John Gill:

Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein; and ye shall find rest for your souls.(Jeremiah 6:16)

There is rest for souls to be enjoyed in doctrines, which a man does enjoy, when upon a diligent search after truth, he finds it, and is at a point about it; a man that is tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine, is like a wave of the sea, always restless and uneasy; a double-minded…

I majored in Elementary Education.  Projects were given throughout semesters and in some courses one project would follow on the heels of another.  I could not wait until the last second to do what was supposed to be turned in the…
